Stella The Hague is a theatre company comprised of professional actors, directors and designers who present plays for children, young people and adults. Each year they present both new productions and repeat performances of older ones. Their productions are suited for everyone from a certain age. What is unique about the work of Stella The Hague is the fact that it leaps whimsically to and from on the traditional borders of theatre. Studio Kluif is responsible for the design language, corporate identity, invitations, website and other publications of Stella The Hague.
Stella The Hague corporate identity, 2009
Studio Kluif developed a corporate identity for Stella which works globally for the theater company's every need. The s-shaped ribbon runs across all of the stationary and communication devices. Thus creating a unified identity which despite the great variety of images it is applied to can still be recognized at a glance as Stella. Clever usage of large format printing permitted the production of a very colourful stationary, without any extra costs. Kluif also developed a sock character called 'Stella' whose portrait was taken in all sorts of unexpected places. These humorous portraits are used throughout the stationary.

Stella The Hague Zinder festival, 2011
The theme of this edition of the Zinder Festival is symbiosis. Studio Kluif developped all the communication tools for the Zinder Festival. Because there was no money for an expensive poster campaign, Kluif choses just the opposite. At first glance, it looks like simple pasted printouts with messages. Slogans like "Joe 50!" and "Who has seen my cat?". Appearances are deceptive, however, the messages have a twist. The symbiosic images Kluif designed were visible throughout the city of The Hague.
